Active Derbyshire is hosting their next Active Environment session around how active travel can embed physical activity in daily lives.
This session will examine how people can be supported to make everyday journeys by walking, wheeling or cycling.
Contributions will come from a range of organisations involved in Active Travel. The workshop is aimed at health, transport, highways, and sustainable travel professionals along with those people who are supporting and enabling people to be active in their daily lives.
Talking Space - Tackling Racism in Communications

Active Derbyshire is hosting a Talking Space about how to Tackle Racism in Communications.
This one-hour session will explore best practices for handling negative comments and online backlash, particularly in the context of tackling racism and addressing inequalities in communities.
They will discuss the impact of harmful comments and messages, when and how to respond, and key principles of crisis communications.
This session is designed for anyone interested in supporting communities and ensuring responsible, effective communication, whatever their role.
