Derby's Care Link Service

Carelink is a telephone-based monitoring service provider that supports people in maintaining their independence through the provision of personal alarms and pendants. The service has a well-trained team available to take client calls 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

The service costs from £6.95 a week and more information can be found on the Derby City Council website here

Anyone in Derby can get Carelink regardless of whether the individual rents or owns their own home. The service can help you or someone you care for if you/they:

  • live alone

  • have physical disabilities

  • have sensory impairment

  • are forgetful or disorientated

  • have learning disabilities

  • are at risk of violence or abuse

  • are at risk of falling

  • are concerned about bogus callers

  • have dementia, which gets worse at night (called ‘sundowning’).

If you have any questions about the service, please contact Carelink directly: carelink@derby.gov.uk
